Passionate and enthusiastic qualified Mathematics teacher working with primary and secondary students and adult learners. I have worked with children in many settings across the Birmingham area. Also, as a Psychology graduate, I have a wealth of knowledge on working with students in helping them overcome barriers to their learning.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked with children in various settings including at the hospital, disability organisations, tuition centre and many schools across Birmingham and surrounding areas. I can teach according to all exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Functional skills. I am also an Edexcel examiner, marking GCSE maths papers.
A teacher is in a very honoured position to make a valuable impact on students. I have seen students overcome barriers to learning because of a teacher’s ability in helping them grasp a difficult concept. I feel empowered with knowledge and I wish to empower others with the same great feeling. I work to inspire children and ignite the love for learning.

Tutoring Approach

As a fully qualified teacher and experienced tutor, I offer highly differentiated sessions for each student, considering their current strengths and weaknesses. My sessions are well equipped with high quality material and resources. I work with the student using all feedback from parents, school meetings and assessment data to ensure the sessions are well tailored to their needs.
