An unique learning experience, tailored especially for students aiming to prepare for the 11+ exams. These sessions are targeted towards developing robust analytical Comprehension and Creative writing skills required by the Second Round of select Grammar and Independent Schools.

I ensure each student receives individual attention within the group. My Zoom sessions are meticulously crafted to align with the requirements of schools( HBS, Sutton, Tiffins, NLCS, Habs, and St Paul’s and many more)- having successfully help pupils procure places in school of their choice.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced tutor (M.A English Literature; M.Ed) with more than 30 years teaching experience. 
After being a classroom teacher for years in different schools, I decided to start tutoring alongside. Now I am a full time tutor with wonderful results from my pupils. Its all been their work- I have just acted as a catalyst in bringing forth their true potential.

Tutoring Approach

It's completely 'pupil' centric. All my methods are constantly being adapted and changed to suit the individual needs of my pupil- individual attention within the group.
No child is the same and therefore my approach to teaching is a dynamic one.

My Approach:
-Face to face individual and paired( 2:1)completely bespoke session.
- Focused Group online Learning: small groups sessions for a personalised and interactive learning experience.
- Analytical Comprehension Mastery: standard format analytical comprehension skills, ensuring success in key school exams.
- Engaging Digital Tools: I incorporate various tools to make each session vibrant and interactive, enhancing student engagement.

I have an enhanced CRB disclosure which is updated annually.

My fees for 60 min session is inclusive of all resources and homework/ planning time and full support during exam time. All work is marked in detailed and feedback given to pupil.

They are group sessions with maximum 5 pupils. The sessions will be 60 mins. They are very intelligently crafted to maximise learning. The feedback on homework and marking is very individual centric. For effective learning in English- I need to know how my pupil’s mind work- hence even though the classes are group ones the approach is very individual centred.
