I teach for a leading private international sixth form college, based in Manchester city centre. It is British Council accredited, and I have taught there for 10 years.I have an Honours Degree in Economics, a PGCE and a CELTA certificate. I have experience of one to one tuition/training of Business English, Medical English, and IELTS. In addition I teach GCSE and Advanced level Business Studies. I am a current Examiner for the Cambridge International Examinations Board.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 25 years experience teaching Business Studies, Accountancy, and Business Law as well as Business English IELTS General English and Medical English In addition I have experience of teaching GCSE and Advanced Business Studies. I have taught most nationalities and enjoy helping students to achieve exam success and go to university. The students ages vary from 14 to 24.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in conducting a needs analysis to identify the students strengths and weaknesses. It is important to develop a rapport with the student and to assist the student in achieving exam success. This is by practising exam techniques and and completing past exam papers. Providing constructive feedback and raising the students confidence over a period of time.
