Tutoring Experience
I have 20 years experience of teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE English. I am a GCSE examiner, marking papers for the past ten years. I am a speaking & listening moderator as well as previously moderating controlled assessments. I specialise in both GCSE C/D borderline students and those who wish to achieve the higher grades. I have consistently achieved excellent results for those students I have taught in school and tutored privately.
Tutoring Approach
I have an extremely interactive approach to tutoring and a great deal of focus on students gaining the skills required for exams through support and guidance. All work they complete is marked to the highest level with targets for how they can improve and further develop their skills.
