Online French and Spanish Tutor

I am a specialist in Foreign Languages teaching and I am absolutely committed to help students that have experienced difficulties in learning foreign languages. The success of my students is a reward for me.

Tutoring Experience

I have seventeen years teaching experience.I lived and worked in Spain, Portugal, US and UK. I have taught MFL in London schools. I taught all levels and I taught at the University of California before I moved to UK with my family.

I am experienced in teaching across a range of age groups, including class-based and individual tuition British Spanish, French, Portuguese and Latin GCSEs and A-Levels and also conversational and business ‘survival course’, ‘banking’, Spanish and Portuguese.

Tutoring Approach

For pupils up to 16:
Role-plays is a good way to get students really involved in an exercise and sometimes they don´t have the opportunity to practice it at school as much as the teachers would like and is required for exams.

I use a variety of teaching techniques VAK: visual for the visual learners; auditory techniques as well as is very important for learning foreign languages and Kinesthetic for these kinds of learners.

I plan and arrange classes differently to fit pupils' needs - "it isn't one size fits all!"

For Adults:
Usually when the customer doesn't have any specific topic to learn, I will tailor lessons and set up objectives for each lesson.

Finally, I just want to say that learning a language is more than repeating sentences, so I absolutely agree with the words of Professor Richard Hudson: "What we're moving towards now is teaching which still has the aim of producing fluent language speakers, and still has a lot of emphasis on realistic situations, but with a lot more emphasis on making children aware of how the language actually works."
