I am a full time professional tutor with over 7 years teaching experience. I graduated from Cambridge University with a BA and an MA in English. I love teaching one on one and have built up a constant and large client basis over the years. Outside of teaching I enjoy the visual arts. I see a lot of plays, art exhibitions and films. I am also very active. I used to row at school and university and I still enjoy sports and outdoor activities. Predictably, I'm a big reader. I read widely in my own time from fiction, non-fiction, philosophy etc.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for 7 years now. I have been fortunate to work all over the world, tutoring various students and ages for a variety of reasons. I've worked with some of the top tutoring agencies in the UK as well as a number of very prestigious clients. I have a lot of success tutoring students for exams, to gain entry to top schools, extended projects etc.

Tutoring Approach

I have worked across the world in classrooms, teaching groups of students; however, I prefer one-to-one tuition.
I think that it's very important that each student is taught in a way that is specific to their needs. No two students learn in the same way and tutoring is all about nurturing and supporting a student and adapting teaching to the student. I have a wealth of experience and have worked with such a range of students that I feel comfortable getting the best out of any student in any scenario for any purpose.
