I am a motivating and inspiring teacher with excellent communication and management skills. I am enthusiastic about teaching and helping my students to develop and achieve their full potential. I strive for the maximum and encourage my students to do the same. I have been teaching students of different mind sets and age group and I have never found any difficulty in adjusting to the mind set of any age group with any level of understating.

Tutoring Experience

As a tutor, I've developed a wealth of adoptable and effective techniques, strategies and frameworks to help several students achieve the very highest grades. During my academic career, I have informally taught Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology to my fellow students to university standard. It was not long ago when I sat my GCSEs, A levels and University exams hence I completely understand how to go about tackling a subject. I use everyday examples to explain difficult topics and have taught students from a wide range of background for various examinations boards such as Edexcel, AQA, OCR, IB etc. I ensure that my students are aware of all the exam techniques thoroughly and have complete knowledge to master the subject. I also tutor via email and proofread courseworks and homeworks. Additionally, I am involved in preparing students for UCAS applications and interviews. My aim is always to get the best from my students and to exceed the expectations of students who have fallen behind.

Tutoring Approach

I start by assessing my new student’s strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate that everyone is different and each individual will have their own way of learning and understanding a certain subject. Therefore, I use many different styles and methods of teaching to explain the topics depending upon the student’s ability and attitude. I am very flexible and patient and listen to the student’s problem and help them to understand the topic till everything is clear. I always make sure that my student is comfortable and give them the confidence to ask me questions without hesitation. I use everyday life experiences to explain difficult topics and keep my tutee involved in each and every step.
I always prepare in advance and provide all students with free study materials. Past exam papers are practised to prepare students prior to exams so that they can present the answer that concerned exam board expects.
