With over six years of experience, I am a friendly, enthusiastic and approachable tutor teaching students from ages 5 to 19 through previous employment in tuition centres, as well as my own private tuition practice.

Tutoring Experience

All of my students have met or surpassed their predicted grades with a few of my students attaining a grade 9 in Mathematics and Sciences.
I have also prepared students for the 11+ and 13+ Common entrance exams, which includes Mathematics, English, Non Verbal and Verbal Reasoning, and Science. My students have successfully passed the examinations for Radley College, Merchant Taylors, Habadashers Boys, Habadashers Girls, St Helen’s, St Albans, John Lyons and St James’ Catholic High School.

Tutoring Approach

My tailored and established tutoring method best identifies students' strengths and tackle areas of development. I encourage and motivate students to reach their true potential and cater the lesson to suit the students’ learning style. Through effective questioning, I challenge misconceptions that they may have, therefore are able to gain a better grasp of the subject matter.

I use my subject knowledge from degree in Mathematics and Physics and research to make the subject matter more interesting and relatable. My teaching experience has covered a broad range of children from ages 5-19 and from both state and private schools such as Notting Hill, John Lyons and many others.
In the initial session, I will gauge an understanding of the child's strengths and weaker areas through tailored tests and conversations with student. This enables me to develop a personalised and structured plan for the student that will strengthen their weaker areas and push them further in stronger areas, which I will deliver over the course of the tutoring period.
