I am a Philosophy Postgraduate from the University of Bristol.

I have studied Philosophy, English Literature and History at degree level and Government and Politics at A Level, as well as Psychology at AS Level.

I was born in London to Welsh and Greek parents and have tutored in Pembrokeshire, Cardiff, Bristol, London, Switzerland, Cyprus and Tanzania. I believe this has enabled me to communicate well with a diverse range of people. I love to learn and to teach and believe every student can do well in education if they are given the correct explanation and patience.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since November 2015 and have had many students who have improved greatly in the time I have spent with them. The material I have tutored ranges from KS1 to KS4, 'adult learner', ESOL and SEN. I have helped many students in a non-professional manner in and out of schools. I have also worked for Accelerate, Bespoke Education Services, and BOOST Tuition where I tutored young children after school. I have reading mentored, been a student ambassador, the chairwoman of a debate team and a leader of House plays throughout my own secondary school years and through A Levels. During university, I have been a volunteer with Kids in Museums and help siblings and friends with homework and essay editing.

Tutoring Approach

I am a very organized and strict individual. I like to manage time effectively and like to learn/teach things thoroughly before moving on. I believe I have an efficient way of explaining, applying and revising topics, and ensuring my student has memorized and can explain everything I am teaching them.

I like perfecting past papers for Year 11s and 10s and learning and revising national curriculum for younger years.
