Hola!

My name is Marina Muñoz and I'm 22 years old. I moved to Scotland to study English and German at university and since then I also learned Italian and I'm currently learning Arabic...so yes! I'm a language enthusiast.

Tutoring Experience

In my first university year I started teaching Spanish to adults with different kinds of Spanish knowledge and the experience made me fall in love with the educational world. I continued this path through my second year as well.
In 3rd year I did two semesters abroad in Berlin, Germany. There I worked as a Spanish teaching assistant in a High School which reinforced my teaching skills and of course, the knowledge of the Spanish language.
Currently, I teach Spanish online to adults.

Tutoring Approach

The way I base my classes depend on the language level of the student. Generally, however, they are very conversational based, using photos to compare, learn vocabulary, have interesting conversation topics... Along with that, I prepare grammar sheets with explanations and exercises to do together, not only to practice the grammar, but also to practice the pronunciation of the new vocabulary and answer any question the student might come up with during the session.

An important note is that based on your needs, we could always organise the classes in a way it would beneficiate you more. I can also adapt to any exam preparation the student is working on.
