I am experienced in tutoring children from age between 5-14. I have an extensive of teaching and tutoring experience in Maths & English. I also tutor for 11+ Exam Preparation. I am passion, patient and highly motivated. I enjoy helping children in learning, seeing them grow with confidence and being able to take challenge and work through problems.

Tutoring Experience

Currently running my own local tutorial centre based in Chelmsford, specialising in Maths & English from KS1 to KS4. I am also a part-time online English tutor and materials developer for a private language school based in Taiwan. Formerly, I was a primary school Native English Teacher based in Hong Kong and I also worked for a language school during my assignment in Hong Kong. I was responsible for specific courses such as Comprehension and Writing, Grammar, Conversational English and Adult Business English.

Tutoring Approach

I use various paper-based and online learning materials. I am friendly, patient and motivating, I believe all these qualities would help student in learning. I set target to students and always ensure that they understand a topic well before moving onto the next.
