Julian

We contacted Julian a couple of weeks before my son’s A level examinations in Latin were due to start, as he realised that he needed extra support. From the outset Julian was very professional but also approachable. It was clear that he was very experienced teacher and that my son enjoyed the private tutoring. Julian provided learning resources and various documents which supported my son’s learning. Communication has been excellent and Julian was always very responsive to any queries, requests etc. My only regret is that I did not think to start these lessons with Julian earlier as my son would have benefited enormously.

My son has been learning with Julian for over 6 months and he was transformed in Latin. He studies in a top London private school (year 8) and started learning Latin since year 4. He wasn't interested in the subject and hence didn't want to spend time on it. Gradually he fell behind and started to struggle.

Julian taught our son using a different syllabus and emphasised a lot more on grammar and structure of the language. His lessons are a lot more interesting than our son had at school. Julian sets a high standard but is very patient. He is also super nice and accommodative.

Our son topped his class in Latin last term. He starts to enjoy the subject now. We highly recommend Julian.

Julian is a very organised and passionate latin tutor, who brings enthusiasm to his lessons. Julian has taught me new topics in Latin, that I have never studied before at GCSE and I already feel comfortable with going into Sixth Form this September and wor on them. I highly recommend Julian, not only for his tutoring, but his great love for Latin, which is guaranteed to rub off on the tutee as it has me.
