I have been teaching for over 16 years and am a specialist in A level chemistry. I am currently working as an A level teacher in an outstanding college. I am very passionate about chemistry and recognise how important it is to get the grades at A level to get into the course at university that you really really want.

Tutoring Approach

It is really important to understand the basics for all the complicated bits of chemistry to make sense. The language of chemistry is difficult so it is important to get this right. Teaching is a two way street so I can lead the direction of the sessions but I think it is most important to assess your weaknesses and to really work on those. Lots of practice and analysis of how you are answering questions. Plus lots of nifty ways of remembering stuff! If you want to understand chemistry I will try my very best to get you to do that!
