My name is Jonna, I am a native German speaker from Hamburg, Germany.
Having lived and worked in several countries (Ireland, USA & England) over the last decade, I have found my passion to be teaching German. My clients come from all backgrounds and ages. Together, we can always find the right approach to improve your German.
I am a very extroverted and positive person and can make anybody talk. I love teaching and getting to know different people at the same time.
In my free time, I am interested in acting, comedy, and the arts.
No matter what your experience is or why you want to start learning German, we can find a solution together.

Tutoring Experience

I have teaching experience with both business clients as well as kids and students. Insurance companies and law firms like Allianz and White & Case LLP are only some of my well-known business clients.
I have been teaching for more than 5 years now and have a Bachelor's degree in English and Italian.

Tutoring Approach

MY APPROACH:
We'll start with a free half-hour video call to get to know each other and talk about goals/expectations. :)
No matter what your experience is or why you want to start learning German, we can find a solution together. I am based in London. I mostly teach via Zoom/Google Meet but could meet in person as well for a little extra fee.
I love to have a laugh and don't take life too seriously. German is a difficult language, so I always try to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible. :)

I kindly ask my students to purchase their hours in advance (usually 4-8 hours).
