I am a primary school teacher and private tutor specialising in KS2 maths and English. I live in Colden Common, Hampshire, and have taught privately for over ten years. I generally work from home but can travel out if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you.

10 years experience as private tutor for English and Maths, years 2 to 6 (2008 – present)

10 years experience as a peripatetic and private music teacher (piano) (2004 – present)

Tutoring Approach

As a fun, enthusiastic and dynamic private tutor with over ten years’ experience I firmly believe that, ‘children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future’. I have supported many children in their academic development both in and out of the classroom. Teaching is a real passion of mine and I agree fully with John F. Kennedy’s assertion that enabling children to learn and develop benefits not only the child, but society as a whole. My teaching is always tailored to the child’s individual needs. I communicate my passion and enjoyment for teaching in every lesson I undertake and always ensure my teaching is inspiring, engaging and challenging. I specialise in English and Maths at KS2 level but also teach piano and singing. I look forward to arranging a free trial lesson!
