As a teacher and a parent, I understand the difficulties and the stresses that can be associated with learning for some children. I have a degree in English and a Primary teaching qualification (PGCE) (QTS), specialising in teaching Mathematics.
I have a track record of engaging even the most reluctant learner.
I am a primary school teacher with experience in school in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I work with children who are Gifted and Talented, children with dyslexia, global delay, working memory difficulties, ASD, ADHD, dyscalculia, English as an Additional Language, physical disabilities (including brain damage) and children who have missed elements of learning for a variety of reasons. I work with students from KS1 through to GCSE providing tuition in English and Maths.
I believe that every child can succeed and I am a teacher who is passionate about helping every child to achieve their ability, breaking down the barriers that prevent them from doing this. I am patient and have a variety of strategies to engage different learners and their learning styles.
