An experienced, enthusiastic and focused individual who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of children and young people at all times. I am extremely passionate about giving all youngsters the best possible educational support, enjoy working in a busy environment and relish the different challenges that each day brings. Being confident, an excellent communicator, positive, friendly, and professional, I have the ability to challenge, raise aspirations and teach a variety of levels. Having a can - do approach and using own initiative, I'm able to mentor, inspire, motivate, support and enthuse pupils to achieve their learning goals. I have pastoral support, managerial, teaching, cover supervisory and HLTA experience within mainstream education and FE. I have a determined, and caring nature, am able to remain calm under pressure and enjoy creating positivity in individuals. I am committed to good practice and innovation and am very much a team player. I'm always engaged in continuous learning in order to broaden my knowledge and experience. Being enthusiastic and passionate about working with and supporting young people.

Tutoring Experience

Have been teaching for over 25 years as a lecturer/vocational trainer for apprenticeships. Business admin/customer service/ retail, children whom are excluded from school/SEN and in mainstream supporting additional lessons for a variety of subjects including English and Maths. Age 5 to post 16.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is caring and the individual working at their own pace with no pressure, but myself by their side to ensure achievement and success.
