I live near the Cotswolds town of Malmesbury with my children. I am an American and British citizen.

With over 13 years of experience, I am a fully qualified ESOL (English as a second or other language) teacher – having gained high grade passes in both TETYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) and CELTA (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualifications. I also have a BA degree in Communication. I offer private English Language lessons for all ages and levels - both one-to-one and small groups. I have taught French, Polish, Italian, Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Chinese, Spanish and Argentinian nationals. I am able to teach General English, Academic English, IELTS preparation, TOEFL preparation, Edexcel Functional Skills English, and Trinity College ESOL Skills for Life exam preparation. I also have experience teaching online on Zoom or Teams.
I really enjoy teaching and believe in making the learning fun. I teach in the interest of the student and endeavour to develop the learning based around their interests and specific requirements. I use a variety of mediums such as; online activities, books, worksheets, internet, songs, videos, etc .
