k#**MATHS KS2 Online Lessons during February Half Term - 12th, 14th and 15th for Years 5 and 6 **

Lesson areas:
- Adding and subtracting fractions
- Multiplying and dividing fractions.
- Introduction to percentages
- Finding percentages of amounts.
£10 per child per lesson. Places issued on a first come first served basis. Small groups. £5 non refundable deposit required to secure a place.

I am an enthusiastic teacher with twenty years experience of working in primary and secondary education. I am currently working as a private tutor, tutoring children aged between 5 - 15 years old in all subjects and preparing children for 11+ entrance exams. I enjoy tutoring immensely and have enjoyed using my teaching skills to build children's confidence and to identify and address any gaps they have and to stretch and challenge students so that they reach their full potential. My tutees have all made significant progress. I am also a supply teacher, teaching across all year groups and teaching in an 11+ tuition centre . Before this, I spent eleven years working at a junior school and have experience teaching Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. My teaching has consistently been graded as Good with elements of Outstanding.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience of tutoring children one to one with a wide range of abilities; from covering the foundations of English and Maths to stretching and challenging more able pupils.

My calm, friendly, encouraging manner puts pupils at ease and ensures the correct environment for learning. My twenty years teaching experience means I can adapt my teaching methods to best meet the needs of the pupil. I aim to work with your child's current teacher to ensure that any gaps in their learning can be addressed during sessions. All sessions are tailor made to suit the individual needs of the pupil.
