I am a classical musician specialising in playing in period instrument groups. I am 54 years old and have 7 children and with my musical wife Rebekka, of whom 4 have gone through university.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching children of all ages from 3 up , and adults for nearly 30 years since leaving the Royal College of Music. I teach the music theory , cello and the piano and my wife teaches the violin and the viola. She also runs kindermusic classes for pre 5s.

Tutoring Approach

We use many of the tools associated with the solfa method including note names doh ray me and rhythm names as well as many other imaginative methods.
