As an experienced Secondary school teacher with over 30 teaching experience within schools and colleges I delight in getting the bests out of my pupils .I am an extremely reliable and conscientious tutor who always aims to meet the needs of the assignment with dedication and good humour. I always arrive on time and am flexible if students need to change lesson times.

Tutoring Experience

As an experienced art and design practitioner I am used to working with young people who respond to an alternative and creative approach to learning .
As well as offering academic art or design history tuition I can offer practical drawing or painting lessons across all age ranges.
Many of my students need support developing their art portfolios for foundation course or art college entry. I can offer teaching and guidance with As level assignments, both practical and written .

Aside from my art teaching I have tutored special needs students or young people who are being home educated . Over the last 15 years I have used creative approaches to support learning in a variety of subjects, including literacy to numeracy . Using individualised approaches and tailored guidance can often help young people to re engage with their school curriculum
