I am passionate about sport and love to play and watch a wide variety. I am also very passionate about maths a enjoy the logical and problem solving aspect of the subject. I have an easy going personality and like to think I am fun to be around. I enjoy making people laugh and getting to know new people of all ages.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified maths teacher, teaching in a secondary school in Devon. I have classes from Year 7 to Year 11 and have privately tutored 4 student on the new and old GCSE specification.

I have also done some tutoring of Year 9 and 11 pupils at the school I am working at using mock results and previous knowledge to cater tutoring to the pupils specific needs both foundation level students trying to reach their level 4/5 and higher students striving to get the 7 or 8 they need for college/university.

I am also an employed exam marker and take the time to mark students papers for their GCSE maths exams which gives great insight into they way questions need to be answered and what the markers are looking for.

Tutoring Approach

I have an easy going personality but will always strive to do the best for all students whether I teach them or not. I do not have any room at my own home, so will be available to travel to tutor (included in the price). I am flexible on time, finishing school at 3.30ish I am free for session from around 4pm on wards 4/5 nights a week. This can be flexible depending on other commitments that you have and can change on a week by week basis if needed.
