Aurora

¡Hola! My name is Aurora and I am from Spain originally, but I moved to live in England 20 years ago. I started teaching English in my native city to small groups and on a one to one basis. It was then that I realised how much I enjoyed teaching, so I decided to train as a languages teacher when I came to live in England.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Spanish and some French for the past 16 years. I have taught both in state and private schools, from 11 year olds to A Level and IB (KS3, KS4 and KS5), and I am still currently in teaching. I also have experience of private tuition with children, teenagers and adults.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring will very much depend on what you expect to get out of the lessons. If you are studying for your GCSE Spanish, I will ensure I focus on what your examine board requires in order for you to achieve a good grade. If you are someone who visits Spain of Spanish speaking countries, then my teaching will be focused towards every day language and helping you to become familiar with the local customs and culture.
