Hi, I'm Ash. I am an experienced and approachable tutor, a husband and father, CRB/DBS checked, specialising in English, History, RE/Theology, and Philosophy.

I teach students at A Level, and university, supporting learning and achievement with a thorough, helpful approach, at home or in other learning environments.

Tutoring Experience

I currently support a number of A Level and degree level students, teach a number of courses for regional leaders such as the WEA (http://www.wea-sw.org.uk/), and have taught undergraduate and postgraduate students through face to face and e-learning pedagogy.

Tutoring Approach

I take a student-centred approach, working with the student and others involved to identify starting points, objectives, methods, and other factors relevant to learning outcome.
