I am a specialist maths teacher with 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience who still loves being in the classroom.I consider myself to be friendly and encouraging. My passion is in seeing young people gain confidence and success through education and feel empowered by their achievements.

Tutoring Experience

To date I have an average improvement of 3 grades per student when starting tuition with me prior to year 9 and 2 grades if they start in year 11.

I have been teaching now for over 15 years in the classroom as well as offering 1-1 support. I teach from Year 7-13 and have covered both Edexcel and AQA syllabuses for GCSE and A-level. I have also supported pupils with additional maths, igcse and further maths GCSE.

I have experience of working with students of all different abilities, learning needs and types of school.

Tutoring Approach

I take a tailored approach with each student, building confidence and knowledge. I use a variety of techniques to ensure retention and liaise with parents to enable students to make the best possible progress.
I use an online whiteboard to facilitate quizzes and games to make the learning interesting and I also support students in building revision techniques.
