I am 38 years old and live in Bedford. I have availibility on most evenings from 7:30pm and early weekend mornings, starting around 9am. I can do face to face sessions within the Bedford area but can also do sessions online via Teams. I have a visualiser for my online lessons so students can see what I am writing and makes explanations easier

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 16 years in a successful upper school in Bedfordshire where I was the Key Stage 5 coordinator. I am now teaching at a private school in Bedford.
I have taught both higher & foundation GCSE and all modules on the old A Level specification, producing some excellent results.

I am teaching both higher & foundation GCSE on the new 9-1 specification. As part of my role I have developed the schemes of work and resources for the new A Level specification so have a good understanding of the changes

Tutoring Approach

I am very patient with students and always encourage them to have a go and use questioning to develop their understanding. I will find the best method of explaining a topic and provide a wide range of questions to help reinforce the work. I have access to a wide range of resources, including exam papers and online resources I am happy to share these with tutees.

I am happy to tutor a small group of students, maximum of 4, for the same hourly rate
