Having studied Politics and Economics throughout my academic career I have developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding in both subjects, leaving me with the skill set needed to advise tutees on a broad range of topics.
I work in political and economic research and as such bring 'real world' insight into my teaching, helping students to relate to subject matter in a more meaningful way.
I aim to build a good rapport with tutees so that they look forward to and enjoy their sessions, even when we are working with complex and challenging material.
I have successfully tutored students in Business Studies, Economics and Politics over the last 6 years.
Though of course, no two tutoring programmes are the same, they all start in the same way. The most important starting point is to listen to the tutee's needs and time frame. From there I devise a personalised programme in order to improve both the students understanding of the subject matter at hand, as well as core research and writing skills that are imperative to ensure continued future success for the tutee.
For me, there is no better feeling than helping people to improve and gain a sense of pride as a result of their achievements.
As a masters student I continue to be immersed in the world of academia, ensuring I am sharp, up to date with modern research techniques, and most importantly relatable for my tutees. I am a warm, yet highly motivated individual.
