I am a 39 year old family man based in Redcar. Outside of work I enjoy sports including football (won't mention my team), cricket and darts. I also enjoy music and reading in my spare time.

Tutoring Experience

I have over a decade of experience teaching in key stage 2 including year 6 - YES I am experienced in SATs! Throughout my career I co-ordinated key subject areas and organised after school clubs. My current role involves delivering aspirational mindset workshops to youngsters ages 8-14 years of age. My lessons and workshops are both fun and challenging, and are delivered in a supportive, child centred manner.

Tutoring Approach

I am a naturally calm and relaxed person who always strives to make learning fun. I believe that my sense of humour will break down any fears and nervousness and enable productive sessions to take place. As a teacher, the welfare of my pupils is paramount. I have recently qualified as a neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner and transformational coach so you will be getting more than just a generic tutor with me!
