Information About Yolanda - Sandton tutor

Personal Description:

I wrote my matric in 2018 and attained an average of 90% for both math and Physics. I currently finished my degree at UCT where I was Triple majoring with Astrophysics, Physics and Applied Mathematics. In 2022 I will be pursuing my Honours degree in Applied Mathematics. I am an individual who likes helping people both high school learners and varsity students who want to excel In these fields.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a high school tutor for both Pure Math and Physics since 2019 and up until now. I also work at UCT as a tutor for Applied mathematics and has been holding this position since 2020.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is building a strong understanding of the theory component of math and physics before we delve into problem solving. Also, I design examples that can make individual of maths usage in the real world. The approach is somewhat different for high school learners. In high school I explain concepts thoroughly and then do lot's of examples up until the learner has grasped the concept. I involve the learner also in the lesson by asking lot's of question that will prove they are getting what I want them to get from the lesson. Then after the lesson I give some Home work practise problems that can allow me to assess and provide feedback back to the learner. **Removed By Admin**
