Personal Description:
I am B.Sc Hons (Biochemistry) student at Rhodes University. I have taken university courses in Chemistry, Physics and Geography. Not only do I have a passion for science, I also love the arts and have taken courses in music- specifically jazz and journalism. I grew up in Johannesburg and matriculated from an IEB school with four distinctions, narrowly missing a fifth in Physical Science. I am most suited to help an IEB student as I am conversant in the syllabus since I wrote finals in 2015 and I am in contact with school teachers to assess any changes in the syllabus.
Tutoring Experience:
Approximately 30 hours tutoring experience
Inkwenkwezi Society - teaching English to primary school learners an hour a week for 2016
Tutoring Approach:
I do not have a set approach to teaching as each individual learner is unique and requires different academic support methods. For high school learners I make use of the large variety of past papers and memorandums I accumulated over my high school career as well as many examples of problems from text books I have.
