Information About Nosipho - Mpumalanga tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Nosipho Tamia and I am 20 years old, I am from South Africa. I am currently studying at The University of KwaZulu-Natal (Westville campus). I am doing my third year in the Marine Biology degree (BSc). My hobbies includes reading, painting and swimming. 

 I am a vibrant and innovative young lady full of bright and great ideas and eager to learn more. I seize every opportunity given and make the most of it. I love working with people and I am willing to learn more. I would highly appreciate the opportunity. I believe I am very much capable of doing the work required. I am flexible and can easily adapt to change.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience 2 years of experience teaching children, as an assistant teacher aged between (4-9) years old, during the lessons I help the students to better themselves in pronunciation, spelling, and having a fluent conversation in English. i had such a very good experience working with children. I did presentations daily at primary schools, educating learners on ocean management and the minimization of pollution.

I have worked for Daadbc, Tutorabc, Hallo as an ESL teacher, which is based in America. I also have online experience tutoring first-year students aged between (17-24) years old at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal

Tutoring Approach:

I present a curriculum that incorporate each different learning style, as well as makes the content relevant to the student's lives. I incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that engage and activate students learning. I use the TPR method, Total-Physical-Response, as i believe it makes the class fun and more engaging.
