Personal Description:
I've been a professional teacher for the past eight years. I have experience in teaching English and tutoring Afrikaans. I have a BA and hons. degree in English Literature and a Masters in Creative Writing. I love working hard to understand my students so I can help them achieve their goals.
Tutoring Experience:
-7 years full-time English- and homeroom teacher to primary-school and high school learners.
+/-3 year part-time Afrikaans tutors to high school students in Pretoria and Grahamstown.

Tutoring Approach:
I want my students to enjoy their lessons! It is really important to me that my learners see me as someone that understands their goals and needs. I make sure to get to know my students as well as I can during the first lesson. I ask questions about their needs, their personality, and their goals. Thereafter, I work with my student to come up with a strategic learning-plan. During each lesson, I make sure that the student is enjoying our time together while we are working towards their goals.
