Personal Description:

Dikeledi is a calm friendly person and an introvert. She is a mother to a three year old daughter. She has a love for education, always looking for different ways to assist her learners. She is adaptable and understands that children learn differently and accommodate each learner's learning ability. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, reading and spending time with family and friends. She believes no child should be left behind with school work and ensures that this goal is met on her daily duties.

Tutoring Experience:

Dikeledi has a one year experience being a tutor for English and Maths for foundation phase learners. She was then promoted into being a Grade 1 literacy teacher for three years at SPARK Midrand, then again promoted to teach Grade 3 learners English and Life Skills at the same school. Currently She am working as an Assistant Principal at SPARK Witpoortjie.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is knowing and understanding children who are at different learning abilities and try to come up with each different teaching style to accommodate their learning needs. I provide a comfortable learning environment where a child is open and free to give their own opinions and knowing that I can also learn from them, I try to create a conducive learning environment through being open and honest with my intentions of which is to help a child understand literacy. I have taught a grade 1 learner who came straight from India, no experience whatsoever with English however with the support I received from his parents we ensured that he receives and achieves the best in his academic work, I am happy to share that within a month Jenish could speak and understand English and when he went to the second grade he received an award for being the best achiever in Literacy. I commit myself with the support of the parents to ensure that their children will be taught and supported in their learning gaps and ensure that they are all met and achieve their best.
