Information About Ayesha - Durban tutor

Personal Description:

I am a young, enthusiastic, jovial and and easy going invidual who loves working with children. I enjoy art, baking novelty cakes, and swimming. I enjoy reading books based on people's life stories in different parts of the world to gain a better understanding of cultures, ethnicities, etc. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Property Development as well as a PGCE in senior and FET phases. Whilst in university I held art classes for children between the ages 5 and 17 and was quite involved in helping my mother in various aspects at her Montessori School for over 11 years. I have 3 children of my own who are all so different and require various teaching styles and approaches to help and guide them towards reaching their full potential and building their confidence and self esteem.

Tutoring Experience:

My formal teaching experience includes my teaching practice during my years of studying as well as informal experience at a Montessori Pre School where I was involved in working with young children, teaching them Mathematics, reading, writing, art and sport.

Tutoring Approach:

I am committed to helping learners overcome areas of difficulties and finding other ways and approaches to suit their learning styles and making it easier for them to grasp concepts. My approach is to enable and encourage learners to think critically and follow a step by step method of solving problems and understanding what is presented to them in a way that they can apply to all fields of studies.
