Information About Avanya - Durban tutor

Personal Description:

I'm Avanya , a geology graduate. I tutor because I love helping others achieve their academic potential and building their confidence. I am a motivated and friendly individual who enjoys looking for new opportunities. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, puzzles and spending time with loved ones. I am also committed to any job that I do and will always give it my best. This initiative has helped me learn skills that have also made a difference in my life.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring for over 2 years and tutor all levels, from primary school to university. Part of my tutoring was done in high school as a volunteer service to the school. The subjects that I tutor, I've learnt about at a university level during the course of my studies. I also have experience with ADHD students. I'm also able to assist with study skills and am aware of the various different types of students.

Tutoring Approach:

I am patient and understanding when dealing with people. If someone is struggling to understand a concept, I am able to break it down further and explain it in creative ways. I believe that building one's self-confidence is important for them to achieve their academic level, this is something that I aim for during my lessons.
