Information About Rebecca - Pretoria tutor

Personal Description:

I matriculated in 2018 from St Mary's DSG Kloof with 7 A's and am now in my final year of varsity, studying a Bachelor of Nursing. I have an A type personality and enjoy doing everything to the best of my abilities, I work well with a routine, and I bring this to my students too. This has fuelled my varsity experience and have been top of my class since first year with an A aggregate throughout. I am mature and level-headed, with a love for children. I enjoy seeing people excel in spaces they enjoy (and even some that they don't). Education is very important to me as well as to our future and so helping students do their best, is not only beneficial to themselves and me, but to their futures.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a peer tutor throughout my schooling years, both in high school as well as varsity, tutoring both my own grade as well as those in grades below me. I have a love for languages and biology which has helped me excel in these areas and enjoy helping others do their best too.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand that everybody is different and that each person has their own ways of studying that suit them. This is very important to me, as in my first few years of high school I didn't know which study technique was best for me. Although this was a struggle, it means I now have a vast knowledge of these different study techniques that I can incorporate into my tutoring. I know that school can be a very stressful and pressurised environment and because of this, I believe it is in the best interest of my students to be in a calm and relaxed environment to ensure they do their best but do not put any undo pressure on them.
