Information About Johan - Bandur tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Johannes , I am 25 years old. I am currently in the process of completing my Masters in Biochemistry at Stellenbosch University; my thesis focuses on researching new treatment options for malaria using computational systems biology.

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than 120 hours of experience tutoring mathematics, biology, and physics at the Grade 9-12 level, both within the Cambridge and IEB curricula. In addition, I offer private tutoring for undergraduate BSc students at Stellenbosch university, primarily in biochemistry.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor, I draw great personal satisfaction from helping others progress towards and achieve their academic goals.

My goal with every session is to provide a practical, hands-on experience, whereby questions from past tests and exams are broken down into easily manageable steps, providing constant positive feedback that fosters enthusiasm and confidence. This approach is adapted and adjusted to best suit every student’s unique learning style and personal strengths. Additionally, I pride myself on being able to provide a wealth of learning resources, past papers, and software tools, to make the revision process as convenient and accessible as possible.

Finally, as a postgraduate student, I aspire to always understand things just a little bit better. After all, what better way is there to learn something than to teach it?
