Information About Asanda - Salt Rock tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Asanda and I am a law student doing my last year at Rhodes University. I decided to become a tutor because i have always had a passion for teaching but that was something i could not pursue at the moment. I believe that I have a lot to share with other students/pupils. English is a medium language that i think we have to master at a young age, therefore my goal is to teach young pupils about the importance of learning English. I love children and this will make it easier for us to have lessons where we are able to engage with each other.

Tutoring Experience:

With regards to teaching experience, i was a tutor for Psychology firs year students in my second year. this gave me an opportunity to do something that i am passionate about. I want to continue tutoring to expand my tutoring experience.

Tutoring Approach:

Since this is a one on one teaching platform, it will make it easier for full interaction and engagement with my student. They will also be allowed to give their input during the sessions. My method of teaching will be a more fun one so that the student remains interested in my tutoring sessions. My sessions would include discussions on whatever we are scheduled to learn and thereafter we will test ourselves to ensure that we have grasped everything we learnt. Since I will be teaching primary school pupils, it will be important for me to keep them entertained and I plan on doing this by creating creative and unconventional ways to teach them.
