Personal Description:

Young and energetic Industrial Engineer working for a large manufacturing company in Parow East. I love problem-solving and analyzing data. I am an upcoming entrepreneur, therefore, I am loving all Business Management related courses and activities. My favorite modules in High School were Accounting and Business Studies. In university, I fell in love with Entrepreneurship and Research. I am a down to earth humble introvert :). I love nature and business studies. I am more into the business, finances and theoretical subjects than the practical subjects. I love report writing and completing formal presentations.

As a hobby, I love reading and cooking. I enjoy self-developing and life coaching books. My Instagram is full of cooking channels. When I see something I like, I attempt to do it, I practice by continuously doing it and finally, I perfect it.

Tutoring Experience:

Initially, I began assisting my little brothers who are doing grade 4 and 6, respectively. I have 5 years of experience as a private tutor having started out with family, friends, and colleagues. I have a good reference list and witnesses. I have seen my students graduate in university and some primary and high scholars improve their overall averages.

I began formally tutoring when I was attending University. I began tutoring fellow students and younger undergraduates in my study field, Industrial Engineering. I specialized in Project Management, Financial related studies such as Accounting, Business Management, as well as more technical subjects such as Operations Management and Entrepreneurship. I also have a target market at my local church in the youth group.

I am always eager to help a student improve their study methods, enhance their concentration skills and advance in their academics.

Tutoring Approach:

I do one on one lessons with my students. I enjoy these because it allows me to see that my student actually understands and is grasping the bigger picture and outcome of the subject at hand. I focus on the subject content and outcome. I do my best when it comes to developing extra activities related to what my student takes interest in so that it will make it easier to apply. I ensure that my student does not pass to forget but studies to actually understand and relate their studies to everyday life.

When I am not doing one on one lessons I take a group of a maximum of three students in the same grade or course studying the same subject. This allows for constructive competition and team building activities. It enhances the knowledge that everyone struggles with something somewhere and we are here to assist each other and learn from one another.

I also assist with reviewing assignments; mainly research assignments and report writing. I ensure that my student has not committed plagiarism in his/her work. I review and construct the assignment using the guideline or rubric provided to ensure that it catches the moderators' attention upfront encouraging better results. I check and update the grammar and spelling accordingly.
