Personal Description:
I love learning, and want you to too. Students enjoy my enthusiasm, sense of humour and that I am approachable. I have collected my fair share of letters after my name despite the fact that when I was at school I initially found studying hard too, so know where you are coming from. I can share my skills to help you learn, not only for the sake of exams and assignments, but also just for the thirst and joy of understanding more deeply.
Tutoring is now available country-wide through online zoom calls. I have the setup for students to see me as well as what I write, and have additional document cameras to hire if desired.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a fully qualified teacher with over 10 years teaching experience in school classrooms as well as private tutoring.
I have had the joy and privilege of teaching a range of both maths and science topics from year 9 to 11, and specialise in NCEA level 2 and 3.
Tutoring Approach:
Each person learns with their own style, and they key to unlocking potential is to develop these unique strengths and preferences.
My role as a tutor is to use a range of teaching modalities to develop the strength and confidence for you to attain your goals.
