Personal Description:

My name is Maddy, I'm a 16-year-old girl who would like to help students struggling with English.
All throughout my years of education, I have excelled in English classes, working at a much higher level than the work that was given to me. I endorsed excellence in English at level 1 NCEA, touching upon complicated novels that are often studied in university-level classes.
After year 11, I made the decision to leave my high school and challenge myself by pursuing higher education at Unitec.

Tutoring Experience:

While in class, my teacher would often ask me to sit with my peers and help them correct errors in their work, and further develop ideas in their essay to meet a higher grade in the marking criteria. Although I have no recognized teaching qualifications, I have experience with helping others exceed in a class that they normally struggle in.

Together we can set goals, and work through any challenges you may have in your English classes. I am patient, collaborative, and will try my best to make this fun for you, while also keeping things professional.
