Personal Description:
Born in Canada, I have taught in Canada, England and New Zealand. I have lived in New Zealand for 14 years. Travelling, tramping, and photography are my hobbies. I have transitioned from teaching to counselling in schools but still enjoy tutoring.
Tutoring Experience:
I taught mathematics in secondary schools for a total of 15 years to a diverse range of learners. I was also assistant head of mathematics for 2 years. I can tutor junior maths, Level 1 Maths, Level 2 Maths, and Level 3 Statistics.
Tutoring Approach:
I am friendly and relaxed. I have compassion for those struggling and can also cater to those striving for excellence. I am patient and seek to understand how the student learns best.
