Personal Description:
Native Korean and moved to Canada and the United States for studies (masters and PhD). My career as a medical physicist and professor span well over 10 years and much of it contain academic components - teaching students. Currently I am a senior medical physicist and supervisor at Southern DHB, teaching Otago University students and SDHB registrars.
Tutoring Experience:
Since Uni, I tutored physics well over 20 years for all levels (high school included) of students. More recently I worked as a physics professor in the United States teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. I am comfortable in teaching physics for all levels of students. I also teach other sciences and mathematics up to high school levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I myself was not a very good student until high school and started to excel during Uni. Therefore, I understand why some students are behind (because I was) and provide very easy explanation for difficult concepts. Throughout my tutoring and teaching career, I made many failing students to pass and excel to much higher marks in exams. I am well liked by many of my students and parents.
