Personal Description:

Bonjour! My name is Camille and I am an exchange student from France where I have lived for the past nineteen years. I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Auckland. My hobbies include reading, writing, traveling and sport. I look forward to meeting you and to working towards the improvement of your French!

Tutoring Experience:

Back in France I spent two years teaching French to international students and young workers. I also volunteered in a primary school and tutored both secondary school teens and university students. A few years ago, an exchange in Australia gave me the opportunity to assist a French teacher and organize activities promoting my culture in an English-speaking environment. Finally, I have quite an extensive background in volunteering in international festivals where I was in charge of introducing people from all over the world to my culture and language!

Tutoring Approach:

My former students would describe me as passionate, enthusiastic and creative. In my everyday life, I am a very hardworking and ambitious person, and I will rigorously help you reach your goals whether it's about becoming fluent or just learning a few notions. However, I am convinced that one learns much faster and much better when it's fun and catchy. It's always a delight for me to meet people who are eager to learn about my language and my culture and I will want to make this process as pleasant and interesting for you as possible!
