Personal Description:
I am 31 and have grown up in Auckland. I like good **Contact Detail Removed**vision shows, board games, tennis, and spending time with my family. I have travelled quite a lot, and I love going to see live theatre.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a secondary school English teacher.
I have experience in tutoring outside of the classroom, both in person and online.
I have a BA in education, a graduate diploma in English and history and a post graduate diploma in secondary teaching.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to find out where the student is, then take quick steps to bring them to a higher level. I use a mix of direction, games and student activities to keep the lessons interesting. My priority is passing on as much useful information as possible- particularly tips and tricks to help in assessment and exams, as well as focussing on improving core skills.
