Personal Description:
Kia ora!
My name is Ashley and I am a Canadian working as a biology/science teacher in Wellington for three years.
I like traveling and have been to many countries and experienced a variety of cultures.
Tutoring Experience:
I taught math and science for 2 years in Bangkok, Thailand, at a Thai government school. I love the challenge of teaching students in a second language and this has made me more aware of challenges that students may encounter in their learning.
I currently teach biology and science at a high school in Wellington.
Tutoring Approach:
I understand that not every student is the same and I would take an approach based on each student as an individual. I want to work together to help the student in their learning and make them more confident :)
