Personal Description:

Namaste! My name is Tanishk and I'm currently a university student at AUT studying IT. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I am passionate about teaching and I am an individual who loves to help people out! I'm a patient individual and I believe I can explain even the most complex topics to someone who has no experience in the field! I have gone through both GCSE and NCEA pathways, I am confident in the coursework provided in both meaning that I would be able to help anyone currently in school get those Excellence/A* Grades.

Tutoring Experience:

During high school I was a helper for my IT class, assisting my fellow students with any questions they would have. This would even range to after hours tutoring through online media. A large majority of them benefited from my teaching and managed to up their grade in that class. This has stayed the same throughout my University career as well, I am still helping students out and am actually part of a few study groups in order to assist students that are finding subjects difficult.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that any person can learn anything, if they have a good base to build up from. I am a step-by-step teacher meaning I go through every single step required and make sure that my student is learning and following as we go along. I make sure that they are left with no confusion and when they leave they are content and able to retain their knowledge, there is always opportunity to ask questions with me, there is no wrong question!
