Personal Description:
I teach adult literacy, numeracy and English as a second language.
I am a pleasant diligent and methodical tutor.
Tutoring Experience:
I tutor adult literacy and numeracy students
face-to-face or on-line. I have taught NZQA unit standards and am
qualified to carry out assessment activities.
Tutoring Approach:
I listen carefully to the students requirements.
Then we work together to focus on areas that need development.
e.g. computer literacy, basic grammar, spelling, reading, speaking, writing, listening.
My adult students always comment in a positive way on my patient
style and the stress-free learning environment.
Student homework and resources provided on-line or in class.
I encourage student-centered learning
