I am a native English teacher, living and teaching in Milan.

It's important for me that lessons are interesting and engaging- I value creativity in a lesson, and find it most enjoyable to incorporate a student's interests into the language learning.

I am CELTA trained so prioritise student-centred learning.

I find that students understand work best when they are in a relaxed, stressless atmosphere. For this reason I find that it is important for me always to be patient, calm, organized and very clear. Although I like to plan carefully, I will try to be aware of how much is being understood so that we can work at the student's pace.

I have found that it is most useful to work very individually with students to get to know how they learn and what they would find most helpful from me. I encourage students to tell me how they're feeling about the language and to think about their own understanding.

I am normally available Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings, Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons.
