Personal Description:

My name is Vincent, I'm 20 years old and I'm a UCD entrance scholar currently studying Actuarial and Financial studies. I graduated from school in 2019 and so I'm very familiar with the structure of the current leaving certificate. I achieved a H1 in Maths, Applied Maths, Accounting and Biology.

Tutoring Experience:

I come from a family of 5, and so have been giving grinds to my younger sisters for years. I have also given grinds to both junior cert and leaving cert students at both higher and ordinary levels. At junior certifica**Contact Detail Removed**vel I have given grinds in Maths, German and Business, and at leaving certificate: Maths, Applied Maths and Accounting. I'm comfortable working with students of all different capacitys.

Approach to Grinds:

I have a more patient approach to grinds. Oftentimes I've had some students reluctant to communicate their misunderstandings fully and so I try to make a learning environment that is both welcoming and enjoyable. If able for it, I will push students and motivate them to think thoroughly about the subject material. I teach general study skills, with the objective of improving students' retention of material covered in the grinds. I will always provide students with a structured study plan for upcoming exams.
